I usually do not watch talk shows because they are often repetitous in nature. However, I watched Maury Povich today as I was washing our clothes at the laundry mat.  The laundry mat was nice and quiet. Just the way I like it.

Maury had a show on DNA Paternity testing.  This DNA paternity testing was to establish who and who was not the baby's father.  

There is three degrees of evidence in law suits. One is Preponderance of the evidence, which is the lowest degree of evidence. The second highest degree is clear and convincing evidence. This is the kind that is used in paternity cases . This and Beyond Reasonable Shadow of A doubt and moral certainity is established by using a DNA paternity test to establish who is the "true and natural" father of a child.

All the men who took the DNA testing were proven to be the father of the children of the women they made pregnant.

I can not believe that some men do not understand genetics and how they work.  Just because one son may more or less look like you in features and another does not, does not mean the child is not yours.

Their is dominate genes and regressive genes. The dominate ones are the strongest.  They are the ones that will show up in our children.

Our children don't get their looks from us. They get them from our parents.  Our grandchildren get their looks from us  and we look our looks from our grandparents. 

One Afro-American man, who has dark skin had a very cute little boy from a very attractive ligh skinned Afro-American woman. He assumed just because the child did not has his dark skin, it was not his. She was very persistent and never faultered that the little boy she had belonged to him. When the DNA testing came back.  It proved to him that the little boy was his son.  He picked him, hugged him, apologized to the mother, and promised to support his son and be there for his son.

There was a very stupid white man there. He sat there and wholly denied that he fathered this cute little boy off of a one night stand.  He said that the little boy did not look anything like him or his second son by another woman.  When the DNA test came back and it proved that the little boy was his, he was shocked.  The little boy looked like him and like his mother.  He had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a white child in every sense of the word.

How can a man sit there and deny he fathers a child and then later on it is proven beyond a reasonable shadow of a doubt that he is the father of the child.

I hate it when men say " It is not mine, no way". Then it is proven to him it is his. Just confess and owe up to your responsibility.

Children are not play-toys. They are living, breathing, human beings. They need two parents to grow up to be well rounded and functional adults.
