Memorial Day Holiday and More

I am just getting my computer back online. I had to take it to the shop and they restored it to factory new and I had my new memory put in so it is running great now.

I did not have my computer for nearly a week. It had a lot of things it had to be done to it. It crashed and of course, Dell believes trouble shooting over the phone rather than sending a technican out to find out what is wrong with your computer.

If you are disabled and your computer crashes. Just don't expect Dell or any other Home PC company accept IBM to come out and service computer at home.

I found a good computer shop downtown in Chicago.

Easter and Other Things

The Easter festivities have ended. Thank God. The holidays are tend to wear me out and leave me rather tired.  I am glad that all the festivities are over with.

Easter Vigil went well. We saw three new people be recieved into the Holy Mother Church. I always get so emotional and excited when I see new people come into the church.

After Easter Vigil Mass, Frank, Nancy, and I went out to have dinner at Leona's Resturant. It was good.

I was tired when we got home around 12:45 AM on Sunday morning. Somehow, we missed Easter Sunday Mass, because we thought that St. Ita would have a 5:30 PM Mass and it did not. So we went to Gus' and had a Gyro Platter and then came home.

I have been monitoring the Terry Schiavo case and the Earthquake in Indonesia.  These are very important issues.

Well, I don't have much to say right. I have to rest up before Friday. That is pay day. I am nearly finished paying off my Captial One Card.

I will concentrate on other debts as soon as I get that one paid off. My final payment is in May. Then I can concentrate on other accounts.

I have some small accounts I can pay off within two months time. So in June I wil concentrate on the smaller account . My plan is to be debt free by 2006.

Rebecca is doing well. No word from Roy. Robert is still with me.

Reflections of Good Friday and on Terri Schiavo

First of all, it is "Good Friday" and the news that is premating is the news that has been covered all week long. The news on the battle to reinsert the feedings in Terri Schiavo.

This is the very day that Our Lord was crucified. It brings to mind an Afro-American Spirtualist Song, "Were You There When They Crucified My Lord"! It Makes Me Tremble, Tremble.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ for everyone not just Jews but Gentiles alike. He was the unblemished Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

We call it "Good Friday," because Christ atoned for all our sins by dying of the cross over two thousand and five years ago.   He gives us eternal life when he rose from the dead.

On the other hand, Terri Schiavo is one of our faithful sisters of the Church and she lingers in a hospice in Florida dying slowly without liquid nutrients and the necessary life giving water.

It seems to me 15 years ago, The Lord wanted to call her home and if man had not interfered in the process she would not be suffering this way and being starved to death.  Again Man fouled up everything as he has done since the beginning of time.

The Schindlers need to be spending all the time she has left with her. Rather than hopping from one court to another.   What if she died while they are hopping from one court to another.  How will the feel then? I wonder.

If the Schindlers really loved their daughter, they would cease all this court hopping and just come to terms that Terri is heaven bond and she needs to know they are there for her.  So when her times comes she can leave in peace and in dignity.

I also believe in the threefold law. What comes around goes around.  What we do to others and how we treat others. It will be done to us threefold.

One way or the other we wll pay.  Michael Schiavo will pay for his adultery and his lack of fidelity to Terri.  It is bad enough that he is shacking up with another woman and has two children by her.

Has Michael Schiavo have no shame, no consciences. I wonder.

Anyway, on This night of Good Friday. Let us reflect on the Old Afro-American Spiritualist Song " Were You There When They Crucified My Lord?"

Have a blessed Easter Weekend and Easter Sunday.
